Allen Dale Davison

	Allen Dale Davison Sr., 79, of DuQuoin, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2001 at 7:40 a.m. at Marshall Browning Hospital.
	Mr. Davison was a Railroad Clerk.  He was a member of Spirit of Life Christian Church, DuQuoin, and served as an elder in the church.  He was a U.S. Navy veteran who served in the Pacific during World War II.
	 He was born April 2, 1921 at DuQuoin, the son of Thomas and Emily (Huntley) Davison.  He married Elizabeth Williamson on October 12, 1940 at Perrryville, Mo.
	Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Davison of DuQuoin; one son and daughter-in-law, Allen Dale Davison Jr. and Delores of DuQuoin; one daughter and son-in-law, DiAnna and Lybrand Hawk of DuQuoin; one brother, Jackie Lee Davison of Tamaroa; one sister, Dorett Stone of Pinckneyville; four grandchildren, Kimberly James of DuQuoin, Bill Hawk of Elkville, Allen Dale Davison III of DuQuoin and Thomas G. Davison of Herrin and seven great-grandchildren, Lindsey King, Joshua King, Bryleigh James, Brookland Hawk, Tyler Hawk, Taylor Hawk and Elizabeth Ann Hawk.
	He was preceded in death by his parents.
	Funeral services were Wednesday, March 7 at 1 p.m. at Spirit of Life Christian Church with Rev. Gerald Wright officiating.
	Interment was in Sunset Memorial Park at DuQuoin.
	Friends called Wednesday from 11 a.m. until time of services at the church.
	Neal-McClure Funeral Home in DuQuoin was in charge of arrangements.
